Nestled in the tall Hemlocks and surrounded by mossy rocks is where Emily and Bens Maryland adventure elopement took place. This place holds a place in my heart and I have spent countless summer swimming and exploring this little nook in Maryland. I think I love it because it hardly looks like Maryland at all and when you wander through the tall pines you feel a sense of peace and solitude. Emily and Ben choose this spot for their elopement because it was the location of one of their first dates and they also love the almost pacific northwest feel of the place.
Not only did I get to spend the afternoon hiking with these two amazing people but I also got to marry them! Yup! I’m ordained and this was my first official wedding! It was so special and I feel totally honored to be able to unite to people and document their day.
